Please give the small long term investors some support and REINSTATE the uptick rule.
This rule was in place from 1929 to 2007 and the markets did just fine. Why was it replealed in the first place?
Once repealed this gave hedge funds unfair control in impacting the price of target stocks in a negative manner.
Please, please do not listen to special interest groups and reinstate this rule.
