Please reinstate the uptick rule.
I remember my father saying that a another depression could not happen to this country because of the uptick rule. Well we came close and I'm not sure we are out of the woods yet.
Lets learn from our mistakes and not let the products that allow you to short 3X the banks without owning them... crash the markets a second time around because of unchecked greed.
These products create a volatile market and frighten the average retail investor like myself. It also indicates that the government isn't interested in leveling the playing field for the average investor, favoring hedgefunds and large money managers who take on huge risk...(as the banks did) without regulation.
