-I think that the proposed market wide uptick rule needs reinstated. Anything else is just lip service and will be seen by the public as more corruption in our govermental offices. I am 39 years old and have been investing in the stock market through my 401k and privately since I was 18. Over the past few years I have seen my retirement funds descimated. If the uptick rule that we used to have is not reinstated completely, I will no longer invest in the stock market in any way. I sinceryly hope that the SEC also starts to enforce the law regarding naked short selling. Do your job and protect the people of the United States of America, the people who are responsible for you having your job.
