Please reinstate the "uptick" rule and enforce rules against "naked shorting". I would like to continue participating in our market but it will be impossible for me to do so if these rules are not enforced. As a small individual investor I must know that a fair system and rule enforcement will protect me. I lost 63% of the value of my portfolio in the run down last fall through February, 2009.
Investigate the ETFs that short, double short and triple short stocks. An individual cannot stand against their onslaught. Is our market for all the people or just those that have a lot of money and access to sophisticated technology?
