I am in support of the proposed regulations on short sellers, and hope that they go far enough. The uptick rule must be reinstated, and naked short selling must be stopped if investor confidence is ever to be restored.
That the lifting of the uptick rule and allowance of blatant naked shorts was allowed to devastate the life savings of so many Americans is a disgrace, and a permanent blot upon the integrity of Wallstreet and of the SEC.
