Based on what has happened to the small investor and to those who have a significant portion of their retirement funds tied up in a 401k with limited investment options including myself there are three things I believe that are critical to return our confidense in the investment market place and they are as follows.
1. Return of the uptick rule immediatly as it has been in the past with strict enforcement.
2. Prosecution of naked short sellers who have continued to profit without the same risk as honest investors.
3. Hedge funds manipulation of stock price movements through mutual fund insiders informing the hedge funds of anticipater stock investments.
