Short selling must be banned immediately. People who own no stock bet on and try to manipulate stocks to make them go down so they make money while the small investor such as myself gets hosed in the process. If you buy stock, you must pay for it immediately and the only way you should be allowed to make money on it would be for the stock to go up.
Anything else makes it impossible for individual investors to make money in the stock market and opens the door to rampant fraud and dishonesty.
