I support the reinstatement of the up tic rule. Naked shorts should also should be not allowed. I think that even though there has been testimony that there has been no empirical evidence that either has been detrimental to the market, I question the methodology and sample that was used to make that assessment.
I would remind the SEC that their mission should be to protect all participants in the market and not just a privileged few.
