I don't understand why you need comments- haven't you got any common sense?
Deregulation has created this mess, and it all could have been avoided if you people thought about the consequences of your actions. Instead, you are easily bought by big money, or you're just plain stupid.
Of course the regulations on short sales should be put back in place, ALL OF THEM. We small investors have been raped by the SEC and Congress. While you're at it, make banks go back to being banks and get them out of their current "one stop screws all" ability to run the financial markets into the ground while being "too big to fail".
Too much power concentration has occurred and I don't see the will in Washington to reverse it- from either political party.
