You MUST put back the up-tick rule and not some watered down version. The shorts helped blow up the market. Our losses have made us poorer. We are afraid. Products that give leverage to short stocks are just wrong. It's not fair. The individual investor needs to know the market is honest.
Legal action must be taken against those who abused the system. We need trials and convictions. You must act. Your faiures at the SEC demand change. You need more people or better people who can find the bad guys or different priorities.
We depend on you. We have been harmed. You must protect us. PLEASE HELP US. AMERICA IS WATCHING.
