Please do not use the statistics for the year 2005 to infer trends. The year 2005 was a bullish year. Instead please use the statistics during the year 2008 when it was a bear market. Short selling mal-practices can only be studied when it is rampant, not when it is mild. I am a victim of naked short selling. I lost lots of money in a stock named TMY (Transmeridian) which got trampled by naked short selling. Please do not listen to the voices of greedy short-selling hedge funds, instead listen to the concerns of true victims. A doctor can best treat an ailment by listening to the patient and not to his/her opponents.
