Dear Ms. Shapiro: Please reinstate the uptick rule,outlaw the double and triple ETFs and strictly enforce the prohibition of naked short selling.These all work together to undermine the confidence of all classes of investors,except the hedge funds.In conjunction with derivatives we have seen prices driven down so fast that debt covenants were triggered before normal precautions could be taken by corporations.This was especially pronounced during "orders on close".We have to rebuild confidence in our markets Sincerely, John Detwiler
