-I would like to voice my strong support for a permanent uptick rule. I would also like to see a ban on naked short selling. It is my belief that short sellers, and market manipulators have exacerbated downturns to the detriment of the average investor. If investors see the market as "rigged" they will simply leave and never return. Investment is the key to individual success, innovation, and the growth of American businesses. We need and want average investors, and therefore better protection for them is required.
