Restoring confidence in the market is central to a healthy economy. Restoring the uptick rule (in it's original form) is fundamental to creating a level playing field.

I watch the markets daily and would prefer to rely on due diligence and fundamentals to guide my investing decisions. However, the market cannot be trusted.

Abuses by hedge funds, market makers or trading houses seek short term gain over the health of the overall economy. Let us return to the kind of marketplace where honest price discovery can take place.

Restore the original uptick rule, eliminate naked short selling and finally put offenders in jail.
