The government has been bold in it's assistance with the banking community, and irresponsible home buyers. I and my husband are part of the hard working, conservative Americans trying to put kids thru college (one now and one coming this fall), have two mortgages we are current on because of jobs in neighboring states. However, with the turn of the stock market in October, we felt it was a good time to be more aggressive in the market. It would be nice to see our government give the private investor a fighting chance on being intelligent about their investing, and not wiped out by large hedge funds, etc willing to bring down any stock to any level to fulfill their daily need to justify their existence.
Bring back the original uptick rule
