I favor restoration of the rules that used to be in effect.
Short selling contributed to so much negative outcome in the decline of 2008, Q4, sending stocks of many solid companies to extreme lows. Short selling regulations need to be restored to what they were for so many years. The nation does not need market volatility brought on by traders just looking for gains at the expense of stock values. It must be stopped.
