I personally think that naked shorting is illegal. Short sellers have nothing but can get money. They also don't need to buy back the shares as normal short sellers. LDK is an example, that stock was depressed so bad in last several months. I really don't understand where they got so many shares to sell if they borrow real shares from others. Institution holdings + short interest far exceed the floating shares. They are robbers actually.
I really don't know what SEC is doing. Some analysts gave biased opinion to LDK although LDK keeps giving excellent earnigs. Investment banks are robing individual investors.
