The ratio of CEO-to-worker pay has become outrageous and is not sustainable either from the standpoint of the economy or our democracy. As an investor - 'owner' we have a right and an obligation to know what WE are paying the CEO's and upper management of these corporations - NOT just some vague estimate or fudged number. If we want to have customers who can buy our products we have to have workers who have the income to make those purchases. This doesn't take a genius to figure out and was proven by no less than Henry Ford over a hundred of years ago If countries like Switzerland can implement a 12:1 ratio on CEO vs. worker pay there is no reason that we can't do the same.
