I support Dodd-Frank rule 953(b), because the current situation of uncontrolled growth in CEO pay/worker pay ratios is undermining our economy and our society (as well as being inherently unfair).  I can see no way in which our economy will ever come out of its current stagnation unless ordinary Americans have more money in their pockets with which to make purchases.  To make matters worse, increasing poverty in the U.S., which is closely tied to these disparities, is undermining our social compact, leading to an increase in crime and a breakdown in civility.

At the same time I, and other investors, are less inclined to put our money into businesses which divert so much profit into CEO compensation rather than worker pay and dividends.

Those who benefit from the status quo will undoubtedly want to keep pay disparities between CEOs and workers undisclosed. I hope you will be take a firm stand and implement the law as it was written.

Thank you for considering my comment,
