This is any interesting disclosure. I question, though, what is to be gained by making such a requirement. Obviously, there are differences in compensation but the disclosure of a ratio of this type will only anger people. If that is your goal, to divide people, then I believe that you will succeed. My recommendation is to not require this disclosure.
Here is an interesting idea, though. Could we require the same kind of ratio for each of our elected officials? Identify the ratio of salaries and benefits to the mean salary of the districts that they represent?
