I have been trading equities for many years.
I urge you to banish High Frequency Trading. How can I invest for the long term and successfully when I am trying to compete against a bunch of computers using computer algos I cannot even dream of???
The likes of Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley make $ millions of dollars Every Day, which is, in my view, is vastly increasing the cost of trading. I would like to get rid of these blood suckers, as well as all the other financial
intermediaries who make millions of dollars in fees. The little guy is being ripped off to the tune of billions.
And, while you are at it, put the Glass Stegall Act back into force. Get the freaking bankers out of the investment business.
