I really believe CrowdFunding will be the engine that can pull the U.S. economy out of the anemic condition it has been in for the past 3-4 years. Provided that the rules and regulations that are in the works promote its intended purpose and do not place too many restrictions and requirements on platform operators, on future inventors and fund seekers as well as investors.
Having said that, I hope that others involved or interested in CrowdFunding collectively urge the SEC to publish the needed regulations as early as possible by or before 10/10/2012.
This will allow platform operators to make or modify their "sites" to conform to the regulations and maybe allow projects to be promoted at the deadline date of 1/5/2013.
