I concur with many other posters on the issue of $1M annual limit. Other than purely software companies, to start any type of business that requires minimal manufacturing space as well as capital equipment, at the very least $5-10M is needed.

For example, businesses in any of the following sectors will require a lot more than $1M to get off the ground:

biotech, new generation batteries, new gen solar PV panels, nano technology, personal transportation....believe me the list is a lot longer than these few.
