Crowdfunding democratizes early stage financing. Facilities (intermediaries) will arise to protect the investor (and entreprenneur). Reputations will become more important. The crowdfunding provisions in the 2012 Jobs Act are positive. The challenge will be the interim period of the first 2 - 4 years after it takes affect.
