Thank you for allowing me to submit my comments. As a representative of the underserved community, I have had the honor and ability to lead multiple projects and companies. I have started, owned, and operated a host of organizes and can attest that securing business funds for underserved business owners and communities is extremely difficult. Sadly, due to current laws investing for these individuals is frowned upon because they are unaccredited and it is perceived that their investment is a higher risk to the company than the company's success.
Implementing the rules for JOBS act would not only improve the economy but would create jobs in the underserved community. Times and the environment have changed since 1933, and the rules must follow. One of the country's biggest issues is poverty and the violence in these communities. Access to capital would put these communities to work and engage them in productive activities. Please pass the laws as soon as possible - can't delay any longer.
