As a concerned middle class citizen it is my duty to voice my concern over the lack of statesmanship in public office today. A good example is the influence that the wealthiest of Americans have on ushering through regulation changes and creating new laws that benefit them rather than the nation as a whole. As a country we have lost our way and capitalism has been distorted so severely that it is obscene. The "JOBS" Act is another example of naming a bill that idicates a change for the good but allows the system to be further distorted in favor of the corrupt and powerful.
Someone of integraty please step forward and "call-out" the people who use the system to feather their own nests at the expense of the middle class and the poor.
Will the people who have been intrusted to manage our country ever understand the human suffering they are causing in their quest for power? Do they care?
It's sad that we do not nuture leaders of substance.
