I am an individual investor and I am stunned by some of the requirements in this proposed legislation After what we have been through in 2001 and most recently in 2008 and thereafter, this law ammounts to an "invitation to steal" policy for unscrupulous corporate and Wall Street types of which we have seen plenty of over the past 10 years. Americans look to the SEC to protect our interest from rapacious people in companies and on Wall Street and I certainly hope that you will live up to that important responsibility so as to avoid another Madoff debacle.
