Please follow carefully the recommendations of the honest folks in the investment industry. If we screw this up and investors , not only in the U.S., but around the world, it will be a disaster for our markets. Given an inch the crooks will find a way to make money.
If you want to help foster small business, get some of the regulations off the backs of the little business person. One that comes to mind is the insane hoops we must go through to document lead paint. It might be a problem in large renovations of old buildings but not in small floor covering jobs.
