I support the new rulings on the "Say and Pay" rules. We must bring executive compensation out from under the dark ages. Do not let other interests dilute the regulations. We need to have executive compensation and "golden parachutes" made public. Also, I feel it's very important to level the "playing field" when it comes to reducing the gap between the lowest and highest compensation in a company. Such measures may be the only way to ensure the continued existence of a middle class, and this is an absolute necessity for the functionoing of a represenational form of government. A just and equitable society will always require regulation of human behavior. Recent scandals and our current economic crisis brought on by unbridled greed prove that a "pure" capitalistic system will not work for the good of all. The government is the only authority we have in the country to ensure that such activity never occurs again.
