Subject: Corporate & CEO Greed

May 16, 2012

To Whom It May Concern:

I urge you to propose rules that require companies to publicly disclose their CEO-to-worker pay ratio. If the companies are doing what they think is right there should be no need to hide it.

It all comes back to what we learned in kindergarten. Tell the truth, be kind to others, and don't lie....it's wrong. So why is it when we grow up we do the exact opposite of what we tell children to do?

This country is in a sad state of affairs, we worship the almighty dollar and no one actually seems to tell the truth and do right by others. It's all greed, greed, greed.

Someday when this country is no longer on top maybe everyone will realize how wrong it is to live life this way, in the meantime someone has to rein in the inequailty for today's workers. If the rich get richer and the poor get poorer there won't be enough money for the poor people to buy the rich people's precious products and then in the end even the rich will become the poor.

Sincerely,

Amy Wassell
