Subject: Comment on File Number 4-637

Dear members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:

I am writing to urge the SEC to issue a rule requiring publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their political spending.

In today's world of information sharing & corporate distrust, we need someone to level the playing field so that all corporations play fair. Allowing corporations to hide their political spending encourages the kind of unethical behavior that has cost our country millions, even billions of dollars through the loss of business when certain secrets came to light.

We the people, need to have trust that both our government and our economic backers (corporations) are acting with integrity. Disclosing political spending would be a step to increase our trust in both sides.

Thank you for considering my comment.

Sincerely,

Amanda Tapia
