Subject: Comment on File Number 4-637

Dear members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:

I am writing to urge the SEC to issue a rule requiring publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their political spending.

Both shareholders and the public must be fully informed as to how much the corporation spends on politics and which candidates are being promoted or attacked. Disclosures should be posted promptly on the SEC's web site.

If this type of behavior is allowed to continue without any consequences or responsibilty, then we are all doomed. We already have corporations and secret agencies controlling most of the decisions made in our government. There needs to be a seperation of corporations from our government or else it can only fail.

America is the focal point for the entire world for government and the financial sector. If only the well to do are benefitting from decisions made by our elected and appointed officials, the middle class will be eliminated and the country will fail as well.

Given what has happened in the past, if we don't wake up and learn from it, we will be doomed to repeat it. Wake up people!

Thank you for considering my comment.

Sincerely,

Todd Daniels
