Subject: Comment on File Number 4-637

Dear members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:

I am writing to urge the SEC to issue a rule requiring publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their political spending.

A small class of corporate managers have been allowed to take over corporations and run them entirely for their own benefit. They can dispense stockholder's money any way they please without disclosing to anyone what they are doing. Justice Scalia says that a corporation is not a democracy! It certainly isn't, but that shouldn't mean that we simply accept total ignorance of anything corporate management does. The present situation is simply insupportable. Please do what you can to rectify it. Make CEOs accountable for their use of other people's money.

Thank you for considering my comment.

Sincerely,

George Cunha
