In light of the recent Citizens United decision by the U.S. Supreme Court, I am asking the Securities and Exchange Commission, your agency, to issue a rule which requires all publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all political spending and to disclose the entities to which that political spending was paid.
An informed public is necessary in a fully functioning democratic republic.
