Securities and Exchange Comm.

Dear Securities and Exchange Comm.,

I would like this country to return to the quaint notion of government of, by and for the people. Corporations are not people contrary to what the SC would have you believe.

This election, the first presidential since Citizen's United, has made it abundantly clear that America will have the best government money can buy.

Until we elect representatives who respect actual Americans, I would urge the SEC to require corporations to disclose their political spending including money to such pass-through entities as the Chamber of Commerce or ALEC.

Please do everything in your power to help Americans assess the interests behind candidates for office and pending legislation. Informed citizens are our only hope.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Jane Lagas
