Dear members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:

It isn't enough to require transparent political donations from publicly traded Corporations, but it is better to do so than not.

Citizens United and all the SCOTUS decisions that make money equal to speech need to be overturned and all elections need to be funded by the public as the ONLY funding option to even begin becoming a Democracy.

Still, for now this one small mostly useless thing is worthy and meaningful enough to do even though it means private money will have even more play for now. The move towards transparency will eventually lead to even private money being at least declared if not banned.

Please uphold the tenents of our Constitution as we are supposed to preserve "...the Benefits of our Union to Ourselves and our Posterity..." as stated in the Preamble. You will note that there is nothing there about Corporations or Profit.

Thank you for acting as an American on behalf of ALL Americans as you should.

Sincerely,

Gerard Elling
