Securities and Exchange Commission
Dear Securities and Exchange Commission,
I am writing regarding rule #4-637
This rule is essential to making our policy processes more transparent.
With no requirement for corporations to disclose political donations companies can freely use their wealth to hinder public policies. That's bullshit.
This rule has received more support than any other SEC rule.
Commissioners should not ignore the public.
Money is NOT "free speech".
There is an unlimited amount of free speech, but a limited amount of money. I say again, this is bullshit. Votes should be the only thing that matters, not donations and lobbies.
Please enact rule #4-637.
Sincerely,
Luke Cuddy
