Subject: File No. 4-637

February 3, 2013

Dear Members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:

The Citizens United ruling has allowed our political process to be distorted by vast amounts of money for which no source can be traced.

Your proposed rule that would require publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their spending on political activities would help this situation very much.

As an investor, I would feel much more empowered to "vote with my money" if I knew which corporations were supporting which political efforts, so that I could refrain from investing in those whose political goals are contrary to my own.

I strongly support the proposed ruling.

Thank you for considering my comment.

Sincerely,

Martha Mattus
