Subject: File No. 4-637

February 2, 2013

Dear Members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:

We have troops around the world fighting for democracy and yet here at home we seem to be doing are best to destroy it. Redistricting, voter ID laws and the horrible Citizens United ruling.

We need you to work to at least provide some transparency as big businesses are allowed to purchase our elections and politicians.

So I strongly support the SEC issuing a rule in the near future that would require publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their spending on political activities.

Both shareholders and the public deserve to know how much a given corporation spends on politics (directly and through intermediaries), and which candidates are being promoted or attacked.

Please move us towards restoring true democracy in our country by ruling that publicly traded corporations must publicly disclose all their spending on political activities.

Sincerely,

Suzi Nash
