Dear Members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:

Please end secretive corporate contributions.I strongly support the SEC issuing a rule in the near future that would require publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their contributions to politicians and political organizations.

Both shareholders and the public deserve to know how much a corporation spends on politics (directly/through intermediaries), and which candidates are being promoted or attacked.

Our laws and policies are influenced more by money than by what we, the citizens of the U.S. want. After all the shootings with assault weapons and other weapons that were never meant to be in the hands of non-military personnel and evidence of the benefits of assault weapons bans in other countries, why are we spending so much time arguing the issue?  It's money and the NRA. Let's even amend the 2nd amendment to reflect our times.

It's time to say NO.  Thank you for considering my comment.

Sincerely,

Carol Lazerick
