I believe that today's extreme corporate involvement is destroying any hope for my children and grandchildren to live in a citizen-controlled democracy. Please help to address this vital issue by at least requiring publicly traded corporations to disclose their political spending!
Hopefully, within a few years, we will have a constitutional amendment to overturn both Citizens United and McCutcheon. Meanwhile, the SEC should continue to do its assigned job of protecting investors like me. Please reinstate the rule requiring publicly traded corporations to disclose their political spending to the unified agenda and publish the results on the SEC's website.
