This tax year, I resolved to properly report and disclose any capital gains, or profits, that were accrued, as a result of my foreign investments. I did so, in the faith that my voluntary willingness to do so, is preferable to being enforced, or going thru the consequences of not doing so.
Hence, I am pleased to report that the IRS will be notifying of results no later than June 20th, so it should be noted that all entities, whether individual or organized, need to be held accountable, at all times, with regards to proper disclosure, that is transparent, timely, and accurate.
I can feel good, knowing that any political contributions I make, are clear, understandable, and do not withhold important details. I never hold myself above the reach of the law. We must all comply with the spirit of the letter. Period.
Not only does it set the right example to follow, but it is simply the right thing to do, now more so than ever.
