Dear Securities and Exchange Commission,

Since "citizens united" now has our government up for sale to the highest bidder with the deepest pockets, "we the people" should be allowed to know who is buying our country since it surely would no longer be "the people" who are represented by THEIR Congressmen and Senators. The SEC should force full disclosure from every corporation doing business in the United States for every copper penny they spend in purchasing our government.
I am writing to urge the Securities and Exchange Commission to issue a rule requiring publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their political spending.

Both shareholders and the public must be fully informed as to how much a corporation spends on politics and which candidates they are promoting or attacking. Disclosures should be posted promptly on the SEC’s web site.

Thank you for considering my comment.

Sincerely,

geoffrey rudes
