Securities and Exchange Comm.
Dear Securities and Exchange Comm.,
As the partisan gridlock and acrimony in the U.S. keeps growing, it has become very clear that money is now the driving force behind our politics. It is up to the SEC to take simple but effective steps that will compel companies to disclose their political spending to the shareholders and general public. Please do not let the tide of special interest money erode our democracy any further - this simple, common sense rule is vital in reclaiming our government and should not be controversial in a fair system.
