Subject: Comment on File Number 4-637

Dear Members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:

It is essential to require full disclosure of political dollars spent by corporate entities.

Their capability to infuse large sums of money to affect votes, policy-making and other aspects of life in our Republic that affects all citizens requires that the public be aware and able to respond to corporate funding of political candidates and lobbying for specific legislation. For this reason i urge the SEC to issue a rule with all due haste, mandating that publicly traded corporations publicly disclose all their spending on political activities.

It is in the best interests of this nation and its citizens that you take this important action without delay.

I appreciate your action implementing the substance of my comment.

Sincerely,

Ariel Harris
