Dear Members of the SEC:
Our democracy erodes year by year. Please do something to stop this trend by making sure that publicly traded corporations have to publicly disclose their political spending. No one I know wants to live in a plutocracy, and everybody knows that's where we're heading, even if they don't themselves call it by that name. Please help to slow this trend, even if you lack the power to reverse it. Every little bit will count. Make believers out of us again!!
