As long as our politicians are bought and sold by corporate donations democracy is dead. Case in point: poll after poll shows 80-90% of people support gun control legislation, and yet all we hear from politicians is how difficult it is and what an uphill battle gun legislation is. With poll numbers like that, if they were truly representing their constituents, it shouldn't be an uphill battle AT ALL. We need to overturn Citizens United NOW or say goodbye to America as we knew it.
