Subject: Comment on File Number 4-637

February 3, 2013

Dear Members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:

I urge to consider rules that put full disclosure of corporate spending in our elections out in the open. The American people have a right to know who is trying to manipulate our elections and our lawmakers.

The Citizens United decision is a travesty to our democracy and corrupts our lawmakers who become the representatives of the corporations and their interests rather than servants of the American people and the public interest.

We need strong and effective disclosure rules so that the American people can know what corporations are doing that may undermine our democracy, the welfare of our republic and what serves the best interest of the American people.

Thank you for considering my comment.

Sincerely,

Lynne Schrupp
