Dear Members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:
We the people of the United States. When that concept was created, it was so natural, yet so new to all citizens of the yet formed United States. The founding members of our country were writing about us, about the people who had taken risks to come to America for a better life, for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
The founding members of our country were not writing about the owners of the Virginia Commonwealth company, or any other corporations. But people, flesh and blood human beings.
Our democracy is being trashed by global interests who never agreed with the preamble. We must now take action to save our democracy. To shine a light on political spending. You don't want your name on a list generations from now when your family members or any American said, these people couldn't have saved Democracy! They could have saved America and they didn't. Please make those entities, who contribute money to control we the people, be transparent in their political contributions, then at least, we know who to debate in this great democratic system we are a part of.
