I urge the commission to enact this proposed disclosure rule.
As a share holder of several publicly traded corporations, i.e., as part owner, it should be my right to know how my board of directors is managing my company so that I can make intelligent decisions in regards to my company.
It is disingenuous to suggest that all the share holders care about is the "bottom line;" far from it!! And were it to be so, such stock holders would not have to burden themselves about being informed how their company is being run. Others ARE concerned, sometimes for moral reasons, and sometimes for strictly business reasons.
Either way, this proposed disclosure rule is fully in the shareholders' interests.
